杨林川：艾滋病日谈性那点事儿

12月1日是世界艾滋病日，而就在很多国人眼里艾滋病，跟“性爱”一样都是脏字眼儿。以性爱为艺术素材的艺术家们，一直备受争议，而对于涉性话题，社会的关注也态度迥异，从观点到行动，从学术专家李银河到综艺主持蔡康永，从爱拍照的冠希哥到坦白取向的程青松，现在，杨林川，这个当代最具个性的知名画家，将选择在世界第24个艾滋病日，发布自己的性爱系列油画作品，再一次因为情色还是色情的问题，接受公众的审视。
真人油画，关爱公益
2011年12月1日，南京六合国家画家村将9幅真人同比例大小性爱主题油画展敬请关注。世界艾滋病日，以关爱生命及人性为主题，杨林川，一位中国平民文化的捍卫者，一名中国美术史的斗士。性爱、文化、历史、生活这四个纠结了千年的词汇，杨林川要在一纸油画中表达。就那么点事儿，干嘛几千年也说不明白!
跨越时间，直面人性
据悉，本次画展，杨林川的9幅油画，将以不同对象、不同风格，跨越不同时代，多层次多角度的诠释主题，呼应世界第24个艾滋病日主题，正如画家杨林川自己的观点：
“性是身体需要，爱是身体和灵魂都需要的，如果我们都能正视自身的爱欲，不扭曲原本美好充满魅力的本能，那么更多人将会不再歧视艺术，不再歧视和忽视那些被艾滋病困扰的群体。”
倾力创作，由画寓事
本次主题画展，源自杨林川对于艺术的独到理解和美学观点，杨林川历时一年倾力创作，态度明确、观点直接。
“我的画就是情色，但如果你看我的画的时候，满脑子想的都是生殖器官，那就是色情，我想说明，各种性方式都是正常的，只要有爱，性就是美好的。”
在艾滋病日做这样的画展，杨林川表示自己从创作到做展其实都是为了向公众，想社会传递这样的观点：性和爱交融起来，才会得到性的快乐。性爱正常安全的公开起来，才会得到保护。想消灭艾滋病，前提是，让性爱变成光明正大的事情。而不是像做贼，偷偷摸摸的反而不安全!

杨林川，中国当代最具个性的知名画家之一，油画风格自成一派寓意深刻，画风前卫独特，是中国当代最前卫大胆的画家。 其作品近年来在油画拍卖市场屡创高价。
