联合国启动关爱艾滋病儿童和母亲健康全球计划

生意社6月15日讯 一项旨在消灭儿童感染艾滋病病毒和保证母亲健康的全球计划9日在纽约联合国总部正式启动。
这项名为“倒数到零”的全球计划由超过30个国家政府、50个相关国际和国家组织倡议并规划,目的是争取在2015年消灭儿童感染艾滋病病毒并让母亲保持健康。确保所有女性,特别是孕妇,及其子女平等享有艾滋病防治服务是该计划的一个重要内容。
联合国秘书长潘基文在启动仪式上发表讲话说,在发达国家看到一个感染艾滋病病毒的婴儿让人心痛,这种痛苦在发展中国家是一样的。非洲、亚洲和拉丁美洲的母亲对孩子的爱和其他地区的母亲没有分别,他们在接受艾滋病治疗方面也应该拥有同样的选择。
据联合国艾滋病规划署统计,从2001年至2009年,携带艾滋病病毒的母亲将病毒传染给新生儿的比例下降了26%。规划署希望到2015年将艾滋病病毒的母婴传播率降为零。
为期三天的联合国大会艾滋病高级别会议正在纽约联合国总部举行。此次会议是继2001年联大通过《关于艾滋病毒/艾滋病问题的承诺宣言》和2006年通过《关于艾滋病毒/艾滋病问题的政治宣言》后又一次具有历史性意义的会议。会议将审查这两项宣言的履行情况,并有望在最后一天通过一项宣言,为未来5年世界各国抗击艾滋病做出指导性规划。
