The Spring Festival
spring festival is the tradition festival in China.It is the same as the christmas day in the west country,it is welcome the new year. It is the day that the families get together.
The spring festival is usually in the February ,sometimes in January.In the spring festival,every family all paste the lucky inscriptions,they fire the cracker,they eat the dumplings.The day before the new year's first day is the new year's eve,same as the christmas eve,all the families get together to have the new yaar's dinner,wishes each other,talk about the wishes about the new year.Small children will receive the money given to children as a lunar new year gift.A new year ,a new start, when I stand on the edge of the a new year, I can't help thinking about my plan of next year. Just as the old saying:“Well began is the half of the success.”So I decide that I should be at work while the others are still relaxing ,and then ,at the beginning ,I'm quicker than the others and of course I will get better result than the others. But ,what I really decide to do is that I must make good of anytime I can spare though it seems impossible. While, I will do my best to live up with what I have planned, and the result will prove it.

I went to Sichuan on vacation.The weather was great!Sichaun had some pandas.So I went to the zoo.The zoo has two pandas.They were black and write.They were very cute.And they were a little heavy.I love them.Iwas very happy I found the people taling photos about the pandas.So I decided to take photos for the pandas,too.I had fun taking photos.And I had Sichaun specials for dinner.They were delicious.I was very happy that day.That was my happy vacation.
Introduce myself
I study Chinese、English、maths and History and some other subject at school.I study hard. My favorite subject is English.I often find chance to practice English.China has joined WTO and Beijing will host the 2008 Olympics,English is more and more important .I will study hard and be dedicate to my homeland.
My friend
Whenever I have a party, Hsiao-mei is always the first person I invite. She is such fun. I know that she will be able to make my other guests laugh. She does not get upset if somebody tries to tease or make fun of her, either. Hsiao-mei can also be very serious and can discuss almost anything you can think of. If it gets late before the party ends, I can always depend on Hsiao-mei to clean up the house. She never says no, even if she is very tired and would rather go straight home to bed.
Travelling
It is exciting to visit different places. As you travel, you will see beautiful sceneries typical of the region. Besides, you can meet and make friends with people of different colors and races. Finally, you can get to know the customs and living habits of the local people. Today people are so fond of travelling that tourism has become one of the faster growing industries in most countries.
The main reason why people travel is, perhaps, for pleasure. For example, having worked hard throughout the weekdays, people will find a widened trip to the nearby mountains or beaches a real relaxation. For another example, spending an annual holiday travelling abroad is an especially satisfying experience for those who do not have much of an opportunity to be away from their homelands. When people return from their travel, they will generally feel fresh and energetic, ready to work harder.
Travelling is also one of the best means for learning. You may have read or heard about something but you can never get an accurate picture of it until you see it for yourself. Seeing is believing. Furthermore, if you area careful observer, you can learn much during your travel about the geography, biology, and history of the places you visit. No matter how well educated you are, there is always a lot for you to learn through travelling. The knowledge acquired from travel, as you will have found in your life, is no less valuable than that from any influential reference book.

A Boom in Adult Education
Presently, more and more adults spend their spare time trying to improve themselves. As we know, a lot of adults work in the daytime. After working hard all day, they rush home, gulp down their meals and hurry out to study in the night school.
But why is there a boom in adult education? There are several reasons. Firstly, people know clearly that knowledge is power and that it is never too old to learn. Secondly, without knowledge, you cannot be qualified for a good position. More knowledge means more opportunities for better jobs and quicker promotion, while lack of skills and knowledge might deprive one of the opportunities to be promoted.
