防治艾滋病的4点建议

一、预防为主是控制艾滋病的最重要策略。特别是资源不足的发展中国家，只有坚持做好预防工作，才能保护广大群众免受艾滋病的侵害，减少艾滋病对社会、经济发展的影响。
二、治疗是目前克服艾滋病的一个焦点问题。针对当前国际制药公司开始降价的新形势，联合国和国际社会应通力合作，进一步推动解决发展中国家艾滋病患者治疗问题的进程，造福于广大患者。
三、国际社会既要抓好当前艾滋病防治的措施，又要兼顾艾滋病防治的长远战略。
四、进一步加强国际合作，动员国际社会提供足够的资源，帮助和支持发展中国家开展艾滋病防治工作。帮助发展中国家控制艾滋病是国际社会应尽的责任。张文康在讲话中说，中国政府高度重视艾滋病的预防与控制工作。他说，中国政府将艾滋病防治经费由原来的每年1500万人民币增加到1亿元人民币，增加了近6倍，并用9.5亿元国债加强血站建设，各级地方政府也相应增加投入。中国的艾滋病预防与控制工作正在各级政府的领导下稳步向前推进。
