本报讯 (记者张灿灿 通讯员杜晓鹏) 艾滋病病毒不仅破坏人体免疫系统，还能引起口腔及其周围组织的严重损害。近日，第六届国际口腔健康与艾滋病学术研讨会在京召开。与会专家呼吁重视口腔健康，利用艾滋病的口腔表现早期发现、治疗和监测艾滋病。
临床研究证明，口腔病变是艾滋病患者的一个显著特征，口腔保健的缺乏严重影响艾滋病患者的全身健康和生活质量。但在全世界包括中国，人们还普遍没有认识到口腔患病对艾滋病的诊断、治疗和监测的重要意义。
此次会议由北京大学口腔医学院，中国疾控中心性病与艾滋病中心、口腔疾病研究国家重点实验室，美国加州大学牙科学院和英国伦敦国王学院联合主办。来自20多个国家和地区的300余名专家学者应邀参会。

The experts called for attention to oral health, use of oral manifestations of AIDS early detection, treatment and monitoring of AIDS.
Clinical studies have proved that the oral lesions of AIDS patients is a prominent feature of the lack of oral health seriously affect the health of AIDS patients and the general quality of life. But in the world, including China, it is also a general lack of awareness of oral disease of AIDS diagnosis, treatment and the importance of monitoring.
The meeting was chaired by University of Oral Medicine, China CDC Center for STD and AIDS, oral diseases State Key Laboratory of the University of California Dental School and King's College London, co-sponsored. From more than 20 countries and regions, more than 300 experts and scholars invited to the participants.
