大河网-河南商报报道:昨日,省红十字会在郑州市人民路丹尼斯广场举行了纪念"5·8""世界红十字日"大型宣传咨询活动。一上午,有178名爱心人士参加了无偿献血和造血干细胞的捐献。

0名志愿者在丹尼斯广场上穿行,散发传单。广场一侧的咨询台前,志愿者为过往行人讲解关于赈灾救助、干细胞捐献、无偿献血、艾滋病预防、遗体捐献等方面的知识。同时,还有不少医疗专家进行现场义诊。
在献血车前,参加献血、献骨髓的市民排起长队。正在填写造血干细胞志愿捐献表的王淑雅是个刚刚毕业的大学生,她说,老早就从各种新闻上看到捐献造血干细胞的事,可一直没机会加入,"这次听说有这样的活动,我一大早就来了,希望能帮助白血病人"。
省红十字会造血干细胞库负责人张书环说,早上8点多,他们的帐篷刚支起来,就被前来咨询的市民围得水泄不通。"没想到有这么多热心人士参与捐献活动,都12点多了,献血车前还排着长队"。
据统计,当日上午,有178名爱心人士参加了无偿献血和造血干细胞的捐献。
张书环表示,目前我省造血干细胞资料库库容排在了全国的前列,今年,我省计划在全省再招募8000名志愿者,以扩大库容,为白血病患者提供更多的生命的希望。
据悉,今日上午9时至11时30分,省红十字会还将在银基商贸城东北角广场继续举行无偿献血和造血干细胞捐献知识宣传及志愿者招募活动。■商报记者
