国际在线报道（记者王鑫）：受全球性金融危机影响，今年以来罗马尼亚经济持续衰退。据《自由罗马尼亚报》近日报道，目前罗经济现状已对政府防控艾滋病工作造成了严重影响。
报道说，为加强艾滋病的防控工作，罗马尼亚政府从2004年开始就对本国的艾滋病患者提供必要治疗，甚至为其中一些人提供食品援助。但由于金融危机影响，罗马尼亚国内经济一路下滑，财政赤字也在不断扩大，政府对艾滋病防控工作渐渐感到力不从心。目前，不少艾滋病患者手中的药物仅能维持数天。他们已请求总统伯塞斯库能够充分考虑这种现状，尽快恢复其药物治疗。
据统计，目前罗马尼亚约有1.2万名艾滋病患者，其中至少有9000名患者在接受政府的救治。
