　　去年11月，由顾长卫执导，王宝强主演的“老乡帮老乡，预防艾滋病” 公益广告首次发布。短片生动幽默，给人一种回到了卓别林黑白默片时代的直观感受。配着快节奏的音乐，所有的运动都比正常情况快了几拍。尽管没有一句对白，仅靠时而出现的黑底字幕，却能在轻松幽默中教育观众减少歧视，关爱艾滋病患者，可以正常接触这些病人。短中另外一位主演“小虎”是一名真正的艾滋病患者，顾长卫、王宝强同他一起拍摄短片也是用实际行动说明，要接纳这个特殊人群，正常方式接触。顾长卫在发言中特别感谢“小虎”：“他勇敢地出演，付出很多，也承担很多，以此帮助和他类似的群体。这可能会给他将来的生活带来困扰。我由衷地感谢他。”
