巴厘岛四分之一妓女有艾滋病

雅加达讯，印尼旅游胜地巴厘岛上发现的艾滋病病例数正在上升，其中四分之一的妓女染爱之病，法新社引述官员说。
印尼全国爱之病委员会的新报告说，在巴厘岛感染HIV的数量，今年上扬了近19%，达到3778例，增加了597例。
委员会发言人在巴厘岛说:"这个数字只是冰山一角……我们估计真是的数字超过7000例，因为很多病例没有报告。"
"很多人不愿意去诊所检查，因为有很多人其实艾滋病患者，"发言人说。
巴厘岛在2004年报告的爱之病例有590起，2006年有1253起。
发言人说，巴厘岛大约8800名妓女中，有25%感染了HIV病毒，比去年多了23%，她们的病毒是从那些拒绝使用安全套的嫖客那里感染的。
虽然对此表示担忧，不过，发言人也指出，大多数游客访问巴厘岛是因为文化和景观，而不是性。
但他警告说，如果不加以控制的话，每年就会新增840个艾滋病病例。
每年有超过100万名游客到访巴厘岛。

JAKARTA, Indonesia's Bali resort found on the number of AIDS cases is increasing, one quarter of infected prostitutes love of the disease, AFP quoted officials said.
Indonesia's National Aids Committee's new report says the number of HIV infections in Bali, this year rose by nearly 19%, to 3,778 cases, an increase of 597 cases.
Commission spokesman in Bali, said: "The figure is just tip of the iceberg ... really ... we estimate that the number of over 7000 cases, because many patients do not report."
"Many people do not want to go to clinic examination, because many people are actually living with AIDS," he said.
Bali in 2004 reported 590 cases of love since 2006, since 1253.
The spokesman said about 8,800 prostitutes in Bali, 25% infected with HIV, 23% more than last year, and their virus is from clients who refuse to use condoms, where infection.
Although expressed concern, however, the spokesman also pointed out that most tourists visit Bali because of culture and landscape, rather than sexual.
But he warned that if not controlled, then it will add 840 each year of AIDS cases.
More than 100 million visitors each year to visit Bali.
