全球年约千名医护人员在工作中染艾 国际组织呼吁帮助医护人员预防艾滋病和结核病

据新华社日内瓦11月19日电 (记者王 昭)世界卫生组织、国际劳工组织和联合国艾滋病规划署19日在日内瓦联合发布文件,呼吁各国重视医护人员权益,帮助他们在工作中预防感染艾滋病病毒和结核病病菌。
据统计,全球每年约有1000名医护人员在工作中感染艾滋病病毒。
国际劳工组织艾滋病防治项目负责人索菲亚·基斯汀当天在日内瓦举行的记者会上指出,医护人员处在艾滋病和结核病防治工作的最前线,极易在工作中感染艾滋病病毒和结核病病菌。例如,医护人员在对艾滋病病毒感染者进行注射、输血时,可能会被针头扎破皮肤而感染艾滋病病毒。此外,实验室工作人员、医科学生,甚至保洁员和保安都有可能在工作中感染艾滋病病毒和结核病病菌,而他们有时却不能对这些疾病有效预防。
文件指出,医护人员在工作中应得到必要防护,以防止感染艾滋病病毒和结核病病菌,作为感染这两种疾病的“高危人群”,他们还应拥有社会保险和职业保险。
这3家国际组织还建议各国制定或完善相关政策,让在工作中感染艾滋病病毒和结核病病菌的医护人员及其家人获得优先、免费诊治,保证他们在生活中不会遭受歧视和偏见。各国应设置专项资金,向医护人员提供预防工作中感染艾滋病病毒和结核病病菌基础培训。
