香港男同性恋者感染艾滋病比率持续高企

中新网11月8日电 据香港大公报报道，香港艾滋病感染个案虽然处于低水平，但男同性恋者感染比率持续高企。戴蒙德艾滋病研究中心总裁何大一说，港府应针对高风险人士“下重药”，并在公共卫生方面“加把劲”，令市民提高预防意识；他表示，未来治疗将着重研发疫苗，利用生物科技生产抗体，但存有一定难度。
何大一7日出席“公共卫生及预防医学”学术会议后说，艾滋病仍没有根治方法，“这是一段漫长的道路”，艾滋病患者现时使用最多是高效抗逆转录病毒治疗(HAART)，即是鸡尾酒疗法，令艾滋病病毒携带者和艾滋病患者的预期寿命延长，病人生存率也提高。
除此之外，患者可采用药物组合治疗以抑制病毒，但患者可能会放弃用药，或有耐药性问题。医学界未来治疗将着重研发疫苗，利用生物科技生产抗体。何大一指出，研究艾滋病疫苗已有三十年，因为艾滋病毒经常转变，外面有保护层，疫苗难以发挥作用。他说，疫苗未来一定要用生物科技生产抗体，代替旧有治疗，但用抗体来杀艾滋病病毒是不简单，剂量、注射次数需进行精密的科研才可决定，暂时仍未能作临床测试，因此难以评论其成效。
