Dear Students at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SUFE),
I enjoyed so much being with you all last night, given an arrangement jointly by the publishers 机械工业出版社 and 电子工业出版社 to give an impromptu speech on your beautiful campus.
Goes without saying, I feel compelled then to share with you from the inner-most heart as to what I have gone through in the past and now and how I made my way to what is being shaped today. My dream at childhood was so simple, just to be a man glory in military uniform, however, I could not even make it. Today, my dream is so huge, no shy away to waking up the world and standing on the highest, ready to lead the new wave of big discussion on "where we human being should go from here and how we pursue to rescue the earth and world." I am pleased you are with from the start through the end indeed.
You are all cool to catch me up quickly. There is no age gap virtually between us preventing from crossing germane to the challenging issues concerned to China and the world. I see sincere, strong and ardent desire from your eyes to aim for high and to breakthrough out of old fashion and wisdom toward dream and reality at today's crossroad. I had too much willing to share with you and speak out to, but the time was not allowed. That is why, the first thing in the morning, I squeezed from the busiest schedule, to drop you a short note of go-or-quit before next stop nation-wide to impact the world as a whole and China in particular.
There is will, there is way. We are pretty much the same in pursuit of the objective optimal to meet the versatile demands. We are prone to be very easy to quit, loose and discontinue in face of tough challenges and crisis. Mount Himalayan is only created for the strongest to climb. If you are not equipped to step up, you could end up in the realm you stay at lower and lowest. As A student, once giving up joining A+, you might not be even B, C, but surrounded by losers of D one day and one morning when you wake up. Once doing so, it's reversible, hardly to recover and come back. Keep in mind, your age could very much be the most golden time in China\'s history of five thousand years. Take advantage of it when China is not just developing, but flying high. Everyone young people alike, has no choice but to start from here and step forward, to kiss the smell of the excitement and join the big party with the passion.
The most I am jealous of you guys lies in the fact that you are young, enough to make room to do anything you want and modified to the best accordingly. To have free mind and high spirit to enjoy flying high, you need to keep learning to improve and innovate and lay out the solid foundation for great mission. You need to be always positive and smiling, rather than negative and crying. In a sense, if you are sunshine, your circle of friends should stay the same full of energy, or vice verse. If they are not, you decisively go ahead to affect and reshape them.
That is the greatest thing that I always want to do.You see me, positive and optimistic as always, simply because negative and pessimistic won't bring you anything valuable but perhaps procrastinate and even destroy for the success. The reality won't give sympathy to the losers, believe or not.
If I can do it, why not you?
It's a pity that our generation is quite unfortunate. We are close physically to what could end us of the career peak in the views of public eyes, though we have gone through some wonderful experience of ups and downs. Personally, I refuse to quite, bow down the head and surround to the challenges. I am ready to go as soon as the heart still beats. However, the law of life from the cycle of young to old is resistible. I thereby respect every minutes of my time staying and fighting in this planet and the world.
Whether you just step into the school or ready further for a long career march, being confident to make difference your life and career. Also, trust that you have consistent backup spiritually and you are not afraid of criticism and challenges. Make and then form your trustworthy circle of valuable friends and mentors from all walks of life, where no power can conquer and no gold can buy.
I am there for you. Whenever you need to consult me for uneasiness and/or getting lost somehow sometime, let me know and I will communicate with you anyway possible.
In the mean time, I need your support from grass-roots, since I am right now tackling the world's most challenging issues -- which could be, someday or in unforeseeable near future, turned into the inevitable catastrophic crisis with repercussion to our earth and human being, if not this generation, it could be the next, the next next... Time is ripen for the young generation in China to think and act beyond China issues, but the global and universal challenges.
Please join me to extend arms not only to embrace the land of great China but also the earth, the world where we are living and fighting. Let go healthy with longevity.
