法国第一夫人呼吁国际社会尽快行动消除艾滋病

新华网巴黎６月２６日电（记者尚栩）法国第一夫人卡拉·布鲁尼日前在法国《解放报》论坛上发表文章，呼吁国际社会“利用大好时机”、“尽快行动”，争取在未来数年内“让艾滋病从地球上消失”。
身为全球防治艾滋病、结核病和疟疾基金会全球保护妇女儿童免受艾滋病困扰大使的布鲁尼在文章中写道，世界卫生组织刚刚证实，人类有办法摧毁艾滋病病毒。所以，“我们拥有一个绝佳的机会：在未来几年内，我们能够让艾滋病从地球上消失”。“我们需要行动，需要尽快行动”，最好能够“从今天开始”。
布鲁尼评价说，参加八国集团首脑会议的领导人们刚刚做出决定，要对妇女和儿童的健康问题给予更多关注，“这是一个令人鼓舞的信号”。布鲁尼呼吁各国能够在防治艾滋病方面付出更多“财政努力”。
全球防治艾滋病、结核病和疟疾基金会是一个在全球范围内为抗击艾滋病、肺结核和疟疾提供资助的非营利性机构。该基金会成立于２００２年，总部设在瑞士日内瓦。布鲁尼于２００８年年底出任该基金会全球保护妇女儿童免受艾滋病困扰大使。
