一种抗艾滋病药物Truvada，可以用来预防同性恋及双性恋男性人群感染艾滋病毒的风险。

这项研究发表在近期的《新英格兰医学杂志》上，几项涉及2，500例男性的临床试验显示，Truvada能够降低44%的男-男HIV传播风险，而规律服用该药的人群感染风险下降达73%。浙江省第一医院传染科朱彪

Truvada是一种复合制剂，包含两种不同的抗逆转录病毒药物恩曲他滨和替诺福韦，过去用来治疗艾滋病，这项研究首次证实了该药还具有预防HIV感染的作用。

不过该研究只针对男性同性恋人群，未来的研究还将检验其对于女性人群及异性恋男性人群是否也具有同样的保护作用。此外，还需要进行长期的安全性试验，尽管目前的试验并未发现Truvada具有明显的毒性作用。
