11月11日《南方都市报》报道，艾滋感染者目前面临着看病难的困局，尤其出现并发症的时候，许多大医院也将他们拒之门外，请专家来会诊相当困难，如此医疗困局难以打破，举步维艰。
艾滋病防治是一个世界性的难题和责任，政府责无旁贷，中国也做了相当多的工作。2006年1月18日国务院第122次常务会议通过《艾滋病防治条例》，并将于3月１日起实施，，同时政府对艾滋病病人出台了“四免一关怀”政策等等，给力艾滋病防治。
目前我国防治艾滋病患的形势一直非常严峻。卫生部去年通报我国艾滋病疫情及防治工作情况时指出，截至2010年10月底，累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和病人37万余例，其中病人13万余例，死亡6.8万余例。至2010年10月底，广东省累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和病人28039例，其中病人7469例；死亡5404例，而这些数据只在保守之列。
面对日益攀升的统计数据，在一定程度上给社会带来了恐慌，给医护工作者带来了压力，也给医院带了现实难题。今年5月20 日，广东艾滋病患王碧雯发生意外，全身 85%深度烧伤，丈夫邓泽润为妻子多方奔走求治，却因病情“特殊”被多家医院以条件所限婉拒——类似这种艾滋病患求医难已经成为医疗界心照不宣的事实。我国《艾滋病防治条例》第四章治疗与救助之第四十一条规定：医疗机构不得因就诊的病人是艾滋病病毒感染者或者艾滋病病人，推诿或者拒绝对其其他疾病进行治疗。然而，事实上即使有防治法规也难以落实，医院可能会用其他理由拒收。
法规难以落实，我们不能单纯地指责医院缺乏社会责任感和不作为。诚然，我们一直提倡人文关怀，对于与包括艾滋病在内的疾病进行不懈的决斗一直是医护工作者的职责，任何医院无权拒绝医治艾滋病患，但是如果一味地苛求达不到医疗条件的医院收治病患，存在相当大的风险。此外，医源性歧视会导致患者隐瞒真实感染情况，当发生急症入院救治，医护人员职业暴露的风险大大提高；有的医院确实没有相关的医疗技术条件，还有一部分医护工作者对艾滋病恐惧的，正如有医院坦然“不是推诿拒收，而是院内感染难防”，这的确道出了一部分医院的苦衷。
不过，苦衷不是拒收的理由，面对如此复杂的医疗困局，医院和政府都不能袖手旁观。有实力的综合类大医院要不断完善医疗条件，不能歧视性地拒收艾滋病患，同时加强医护人员对艾滋病防治的培训，提升医疗技能和应对预防，减少职业风险，确保医护人员和其他病人的安全。
艾滋病防治之路漫漫兮，防艾经费是最大的问题。政府方面，需要做的工作有：
第一、政府加大投入专项资金，不断地宣传防艾知识，鼓励公益力量给予该特殊人群的帮助，消除医疗歧视，减少社会恐慌；
第二、最好设立更多的定点医院收治特殊病患人群，落实综合类有实力的医院提升治疗条件，给予定点医院更多的补贴，提高参与防艾医院职工的福利待遇，让医护工作者安居乐业；
第三、培养更多的防艾医疗人才，开展防艾专项研究造福社会，委派人力指导其他医院做好艾滋病患的收治工作。只有政府和医院将工作做好，社会才能不害怕艾滋病。
为了破解艾滋感染者看病难的困局，政府、社会和医院不能不给力，唯有这样才能惠及艾滋病患，让他们获得更多的社会温暖，让他们在生命的旅途上不至于太孤独太无助……
