中医药为艾滋病治疗注入新活力

新华网昆明11月26日电 （记者李萌、王若遥、李怀岩）中国医学界正尝试用传统中医药治疗艾滋病。科研和临床实践证明，中医药治疗能有效保护和恢复人体免疫功能，提高艾滋病病毒感染者和病人的生活质量。
在云南省昆明市中医医院，记者见到了21岁的艾滋病感染者龙飞（化名），他一大早就到医院艾滋病防治科来领取药品，医生拿给他是用中草药制成的药丸和袋装汤剂。龙飞说，我去年5月份检查出感染了艾滋病，开始时吃西药，身体还是很不舒服，后来就到这里吃中药，没什么不良反应，工作生活和正常人一样。
昆明市中医医院主治医师陈昕说，中医药治疗艾滋病和西医有很多不同，医生了解患者感染情况后，要通过中医传统的诊脉、观色等方式，判断病人的体质。中医认为每个人都有不同的体质，需要不同的治疗方法。除了2种医疗机构中药制剂，我们还根据病人体质开中药处方，治疗不同的症状。从2005年建立试点起，已累计收治了600多人。
20世纪80年代中期，中国开始探索将中医药用于治疗艾滋病的方法，经过很多科研工作者的努力，2004年第一个治疗艾滋病的中成药“唐草片”获得国家批准文号。2004年，中国启动中医药治疗艾滋病试点项目，至今已有1万多人接受了治疗。目前，国家和各省市批准用于艾滋病临床治疗和科研的中成药或医疗机构中药制剂有20多种，同时初步形成了一批中医药治疗艾滋病方案。
据介绍，艾滋病于1981年在美国首次确认，至今全球有3400多万艾滋病病毒感染者，西方科学家围绕艾滋病病毒进行了大量的研究，目前，美国FDA批准的抗病毒治疗药物有30多种，这些药物通过“鸡尾酒疗法”结合起来，可以有效杀灭抑制病毒。因此，西医抗病毒治疗成为世界通行的艾滋病治疗方法，但也存在毒副作用大、部分药品价格昂贵等问题。
云南省中医中药研究院院长马克坚表示，这几年科研和临床治疗数据表明，中医药治疗艾滋病在抗病毒、恢复人体免疫功能等方面有确切的效果。但现在的国际通用的治疗标准是建立在西医抗病毒治疗体系上的，要说明中医药治疗艾滋病的有效性，必须在国际标准的基础上建立自己的标准体系。
“中医药治疗可以有效维持患者体重、恢复体力、恢复劳动能力，减少感冒发烧、皮疹等方面症状，保证艾滋病患者正常的生活、工作能力，我们将这些方面效果量化，建立了主观指标，作为西医CD4水平标准的补充。”马克坚说，但中医药治疗艾滋病的机理很多还不清楚，需要积累更多的科研和治疗数据，现在国家已经将相关研究立项。
马克坚说，与西医针对病毒本身治疗不同，中医从人体整体机能出发，针对病症进行治疗，中医对艾滋病人经常出现的易感冒、长期低烧、体型消瘦等症状都有治疗办法，能有效治疗这些病症，就能有效延长艾滋病患者的寿命，最终降低死亡率。来自中医药治疗试点的统计数据显示，2010年单纯抗病毒治疗存活比例是87.46%，中西医结合的是98.29%。单纯西医治疗的肝功能异常率为16.59%，中西医结合治疗为11.61%，中西医结合后多种不良发生率都远远低于西医。
据介绍，中国于1985年宣布第一例因艾滋病死亡的病例，截至2011年9月，中国累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和病人为42.9万例。截至2010年底，云南省累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和病人8万多例，数量居全国首位。目前，云南省有13个中医药治疗艾滋病试点，累计收治艾滋病感染者和病人6000多例，约占全国试点项目治疗病例的一半。
马克坚说，中国正努力探索一条中西医结合的“中国式艾滋病治疗之路”。临床治疗和科研实践表明，西医擅长抗病毒治疗，中医药擅长保护恢复人体免疫系统，将两者结合起来最能使艾滋病患者受益，目前云南中医中药研究院在中医药治疗艾滋病领域已经有10多个国家级和省级科研项目，未来将继续开展中医药抗病毒机理、保护恢复人体免疫系统、中西医药结合治疗艾滋病、艾滋病中药制剂等方面研究。
