大卫是执导关于艾滋病的纪录片《我们曾在这里》的旧金山导演。《我们曾在这里》是一部通过五个当事人来介绍二十世纪八十年代艾滋病横行旧金山时所产生的影响的纪录片,这部影片已经在圣丹斯电影节上放映，并取得了良好的放映效果，预计将在本周五在卡斯特罗剧院放映。
