中广网北京3月20日消息（记者杨超）据中国之声《新闻和报纸摘要》报道，“十一五”期间，我国通过实施“艾滋病和病毒性肝炎等重大传染病防治”科技重大专项，初步建立了具有举国体制特征的传染病防治科技支撑体系，突破了一批关键技术和产品，为有效降低艾滋病、病毒性肝炎和结核病的发病率、病死率提供了重要支撑。
“北京市朝阳区艾滋病和病毒性肝炎等重大传染病综合防治示范区建设研究”项目2010年4月正式启动，建立覆盖100至150万人口的居民电子化健康档案和艾滋病、病毒性肝炎等重大传染病综合防治网络。目标是降低该地区乙肝、艾滋病发病率和死亡率，为我国大中城市的重大传染病防治积累经验。朝阳示范区仅仅是我国“艾滋病和病毒性肝炎等重大传染病防治”重大科技专项的一个组成部分。
专项专职技术责任人、技术总师侯云德院士：这是一个民生工程，威胁民众健康的几个重大疾病，我们通过科研制定一套方案再到全国范围内来控制。
