You might remember 15-year-old Allen Largin’s Melo M7 design from the Jordan shoes Brand 2010 Future Sole competition back in August. His inspiration of the clean lines and durability of Indy cars and his use of personalized features for Carmelo Anthony helped crown him the winner of his division@%^^. Yesterday Largin took the opportunity to fly out to Denver to present his finished product to Jordan shoes Melo in person and share the thought process that went into his design.

The design team at Jordan has continued to expand on Largin’s original design to create a polished release for Melo to wear on the court himself wearing Air Jordan shoes. This brings the design process full-circle for Largin, who will see his early sketches developed into a real shoe for one of the biggest stars in the league and in retail later in the season with cheap Jordan shoes.
