艾滋病病毒玻璃雕揭病毒真面目(组图)
从艾滋病病毒到H1N1甲型流感病毒，英国艺术家卢克·杰拉姆在病毒学家和玻璃吹制工的帮助下，结合不同的科学照片和模型花费了5年时间制作了世界上这些最致命的病毒和细菌的玻璃雕塑。
从艾滋病病毒到H1N1甲型流感病毒，英国布里斯托尔市艺术家卢克·杰拉姆在病毒学家和玻璃吹制工乔治、布里恩·琼斯和诺曼·维奇的帮助下，结合不同的科学照片和模型花费了5年时间制作了世界上这些最致命的病毒和细菌的玻璃雕塑。
生物医学中的伪色问题以其对于科学交流目的的应用对杰拉姆来说是一个巨大而非常有趣的主题。如果说一些图片的染色是出于科学目的，一些图片的染色只是出于美学原因，那么观众如何分辨？以艾滋病病毒为例，伪色图片中哪种颜色是自然标本中所没有的？多少人相信病毒的颜色如此鲜艳？基于这些问题，杰拉姆创作了一系列透明的三维雕塑，最大的雕塑有25厘米高。这些艺术品的照片旨在向大众介绍病毒的本来面目。
杰拉姆制作这一系列病毒玻璃模型是想告诉人们，这些病毒病菌本身是透明的，并不是人们平时在出版物上所看到的那些夸张的颜色。另外，创作这些透明的玻璃雕塑是为了让人们思考每种疾病对全球的影响以及思考科学图片的伪着色是如何影响我们对现象的理解的。
