5月5日，记者从广西中医（中西医结合）艾滋病研究中心了解到，经过5年多的临床实践，广西研制的两种中药方剂，对提高艾滋病感染者免疫力和生活质量有明显效果。日前，经专家论证，两种方剂改良成胶囊，已正式申请国家药准字号。今后这两种中药胶囊将在全区艾滋病高发区推广，造福广大艾滋病感染者和病人。
当艾滋病感染者体内的CD4细胞小于350个/立方毫米时，就要服用抗病毒药物；当CD4细胞小于200个/立方毫米时，就容易出现多种机会性感染和肿瘤。除了抗病毒药物外，中医药能不能使CD4细胞不降低，或者延缓。从2005年开始，广西的中医药专家进行了有益的探索。
广西中医（中西医结合）艾滋病研究中心办公室主任邓鑫教授告诉记者，按中医理论，艾滋病感染者和病人都是气虚症状，需要补气提高免疫功能；广西的气候特点是湿热，在扶正的基础上，患者体质也偏于湿热。根据这些特点，2005年广西中医药专家开发了两个中医药汤剂，临床使用了很长时间，效果不错。由于每味药有8—13种，患者抓药、煎药比较麻烦，艾滋病感染者服药的依从性不好。在经过中医药专家论证后，改良成了“参灵扶正胶囊”和“清毒胶囊”。
邓鑫教授说，与抗病毒药物相比，中医药有一些优势，一是可以延缓服用抗病毒药物的时间。因为服用抗病毒药物有利有弊，服用太早容易产生耐药性；二是可以提高感染者的生存质量；三是价格比较低廉。虽然抗病毒药物是国家免费提供，但是感染者一天的药费也需要几十元到上百元，而中药一天不足10元。另外，配合抗病毒药物使用，还可以减轻艾滋病感染者和病人的药物反应。
“从全国范围内看，服用中医药三年以后，70%艾滋病感染者和病人CD4细胞处于稳定水平。”邓鑫教授说，目前广西在中医药治疗艾滋病感染者和病人方面，是走在全国各省（市、区）的前列。目前已经治疗了1000多位艾滋病感染者和病人，基本上取得了好的效果。（记者 徐哲）
