6月21日，世界卫生组织（WHO）宣布了新的艾滋病预防和治疗指南，其中呼吁各国政府保障男同性恋者享有相关的平等机会。
世界卫生组织指出，男男性行为者是受艾滋病影响程度最严重的人群之一，但在许多国家里，这一部分人群在获得相关医疗健康服务方面仍然遭受法律上和现实中的歧视。
目前仍有约76个国家的法律对成年男性之间自愿的性行为定罪。有调查显示，这些国家的男同性恋者担心到医疗机构寻求帮助会被拒绝，也担心个人身份被公开甚至因此遭受暴力对待。
世界卫生组织的艾滋病机构主任戈特弗莱德（Gottfried Hirnshall）在日内瓦对媒体说，在部分国家里，同性恋和双性恋男性的HIV感染率达到40%，而跨性别者的感染率更可能高达68%。
戈特弗莱德说，世界卫生组织的新指南是为各国政府、医疗工作者以及男同性恋者而发布，指南内容包括建议各国立法消除相关方面的歧视。（爱白网）

June 21, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced a new AIDS prevention and treatment guidelines, which called on governments to protect gay men enjoy equal opportunities associated.

Fred Gott said the World Health Organization's new guidelines for governments, health workers and gay men and published guidelines include recommendations relevant aspects of national legislation to eliminate discrimination. (Love white net)
