爱白研究成果显示艾滋病住院患者营养不良普遍流行

2011年6月6日，正在泰国曼谷召开的第七届亚太地区临床营养大会（Asia Pacific Conference for Clinical Nutrition, APCCN 2011）上，由爱白卫生与艾滋病服务项目牵头，联合了中国知名的临床营养、艾滋病治疗中心所做的一项艾滋病住院患者营养研究成果正式发布。
这项研究在中国成都进行，研究结果发现因当地艾滋病入院治疗的患者中，超过70％存在营养不良，多达80％的患者其热量摄入和蛋白质摄入未达到中国人平均摄入标准。此外，研究还发现，多数新诊断为HIV的患者已经处于艾滋病期，入院时的CD4+T细胞平均水平仅为59/ul（正常水平为>500／ul）。
这项研究成果表明，营养不良已经成为中国艾滋病感染者和患者面临的主要挑战之一，住院艾滋病患者及感染者的营养状况应该引起医疗机构、疾控部门和社区组织的高度重视。综合该研究及国际国内已有研究证据表明，营养不良是导致艾滋病感染者和患者出现不良预后的重要因素。
研究学者建议，对接受抗病毒治疗的患者，都应定期对其进行常规营养不良筛查，以早期发现营养不良。现有的各种艾滋病关怀项目也应重视患者的热量和蛋白质摄入问题。应将医学营养治疗纳入为国家和社区艾滋病治疗指南的一部分。
这项研究由爱白联合中国医学科学院北京协和医院、成都市传染病院、四川大学华西医院、四川省医学科学院•四川省人民医院等多家单位共同协作完成。本次亚太地区临床营养大会特邀爱白卫生与艾滋病服务负责人江华博士就该研究进行大会发言。据悉，该研究的第一阶段正式报告将于2011年由权威营养学专业期刊《亚太临床营养杂志（Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition）》正式发表。
爱白卫生与艾滋病服务目前正继续与合作单位一道在北京和成都继续开展进一步研究，以期为国内艾滋病患者及HIV感染者提供具有循证医学证据支持的高质量医学营养治疗服务。

Researchers suggested, for patients receiving antiretroviral treatment, should periodically for routine screening of malnutrition to the early detection of malnutrition. Various existing AIDS care projects should pay attention to the calorie and protein intake in patients with the problem. Medical nutrition therapy should be incorporated into the national and community as part of HIV treatment guidelines.
