郑州市疾病预防控制中心“携手园·关爱之家”自2010年12月1日挂牌成立以来，通过艾滋病咨询、干预、能力建设、培训、宣传及关爱、转介等形式，通过相关网站、QQ群、知情人介绍、社区小组介绍、“滚雪球”等途径，进入酒吧、浴池等活动场所，开展多种形式的干预、宣传工作。同时，该中心建立了国家级男男性接触（MSM）人群HIV检测哨点，在工作中得到了社区小组、志愿者的认可，建立了良好的合作关系，积累了一定的防治艾滋病管理经验。
艾滋病感染者的精神家园
携手园·关爱之家是MSM人群信赖的家园，是感染者心中渴望的家。在这里有他们可以相信和倾诉的朋友，在这里他们的心灵可以放开、无拘无束，许多人更是把这里当成了自己的家，每次从门口经过时，都忍不住回“家”看看，在携手园里聊聊天，谈谈心。这里对于这个边缘群体而言，已经超越了一个医院，一个门诊的含义，更像是一个精神的家园。
这个精神家园的建立和形成不是一朝一夕、一蹴而就的，其中渗透了郑州市疾病预防控制中心工作人员一次次的耐心工作、一遍遍的精心开导、一点点的情感付出。
在被确诊感染艾滋病后，大多数人都会出现濒临崩溃、世界末日的感觉。这时的他们是那么的无助、脆弱，也许只是一个瞬间，一个生命就将消失。郑州市疾病预防控制中心的专业咨询人员，像朋友一样给予他们心理支持和情感支持，使他们及时走出那一瞬间的无助。通过这个过程，艾滋病感染者的情感得到宣泄，他们也把咨询员当做了可以倾诉的朋友、可以信赖的家人。
去年年底，有一个22岁的小伙子陪同朋友前来郑州市疾病预防控制中心进行艾滋病检测，朋友说让他也测测。几天后，他的检测结果出来了，阳性。郑州市疾病预防控制中心的工作人员给他打电话，告诉他检测结果有点儿问题，让他过来谈谈。他马上回答说：“开什么玩笑，我身体这么健康，我没问题。”
之后，心里有些惴惴不安的他，又到郑州市其他几家医院进行检查，但最后都推荐他到郑州市疾病预防控制中心确诊。无奈之下，他还是来到郑州市疾病预防控制中心。再次确证检查的结果出来之后，他有些难以接受：“为什么是我？为什么我这么倒霉？我就那一次没有带套，怎么就会传染上？”工作人员告诉他：“对于群体来说，一次危险行为感染艾滋病的几率很低，但对于你自己而言，每一次的性行为感染艾滋病的几率就是百分之百。感染既然存在了就不要抱怨。你认为你倒霉，比你倒霉的人太多了，电视上每天都在报道车祸，受害者招谁惹谁了，也可能只是一刹那，被车祸夺走生命，他做错什么了。而你，至少现在还活着。”听了咨询员的话，小伙子的心情渐渐平复下来。
但抱怨过后，像许多确证的艾滋病感染者一样，小伙子感到了害怕和恐惧。生命仿佛已经被攥在凶神恶煞之手。“我会不会马上就死去？我会不会被隔离起来？”工作人员向他讲解了艾滋病的基本知识，告诉他并不会马上死去，也不会被隔离。他才稍稍安心了。
之后，他经常回“携手园·关爱之家”看看，和咨询员聊聊天。
携手园·关爱之家是由同伴教育志愿者、感染者草根组织、心理医生、艾滋病专家、网络服务组成的家园，向新发现的感染者进行“一对一、面对面”的心理支持及危机期干预，提供性病、艾滋病防治知识培训及感染者身份认同的机构，宣传倡导安全性行为及健康的生活方式，帮助感染者重新建立积极的生活态度，走出自闭状态，回归、回馈社会。
在这里，他不是一个受歧视的艾滋病患者，不是一个让别人唯恐躲闪不及的人，他就是一个家的一份子。他和咨询员聊家庭，聊感情，聊生活。他和其他的志愿者、艾滋病感染者一起打扮、设计自己的家。渐渐地，他又有了重新面对生活的勇气。死亡是所有人的归宿。死亡是任何人的恐惧。那么，放下恐惧，直面死亡，把握生的机会！
现在他有着一份足以维持生计的工作，还成为一名艾滋病防治的义务宣传员和志愿者。“我已经感染上，不想让更多的人走我的路。我要通过郑州市疾病预防控制中心"携手园·关爱之家"这个温暖的平台，让更多人知道艾滋病其实没有那么可怕，减少社会对艾滋病患者的歧视。”
这个22岁的小伙子，是许多像他一样在郑州市疾病预防控制中心做过检测的艾滋病患者中的一员。他们之后大多都和郑州市疾病预防控制中心的工作人员保持着密切联系。生病了，打电话咨询吃什么药。感情生活有问题了，打电话来倾诉。生意有进展了，打电话来报喜。这里，是他们人生的第二个家。咨询员，就是他们的家人。
自愿咨询检测
在宾馆做过服务员的24岁小伙子，今年3月，在街边收到了郑州市疾病预防控制中心免费发放的艾滋病防治宣传页。在看到“携手园·关爱之家”后，他来到郑州市疾病预防控制中心进行检测咨询。他到达郑州市疾病预防控制中心的时候，咨询室内有一名感染者正在咨询，由于咨询涉及个人隐私，都是单独进行的。他悠闲地坐在门口的凳子上等待。几十分钟后，资询室的门开了，一个人焦虑地走了出来。他笑呵呵地走进咨询室，对咨询员说：“刚才那个人有必要那么紧张吗，出问题就治疗怕什么呢。”咨询员当即告诉他，每个人自己得上艾滋病后，都不能做到坦然。
果不其然，当检测结果为阳性时，他没有了之前的轻松和玩世不恭，坐在椅子上大哭起来，哭完之后，黯然地离开了。咨询员很担心，一直给他发短信。直到晚上，他给咨询员回了短信：“我活着已经没有意义了，我也不想再回家面对父母，让我自生自灭吧。”咨询员赶紧回他短信：“你的生命是父母给的，就算你要放弃，也要告诉父母一声，他们辛辛苦苦养你到20多岁，总不能不明不白，一转眼就没有了吧。你染上了艾滋病固然是不幸，但你毕竟还有生命，跟某些人比还是幸运的。”
情绪激动的他，关了机。这可急坏了咨询员。他不停地拨打对方电话。“那是一条命，虽然在工作之外，但我不能不管。如果有一点儿不小心，他可能就会放弃自己的生命。”终于，一个小时后，电话拨通了，小伙子说自己在二七北路。咨询员立即赶去，虽然当时已是晚上10点，虽然这并不是他工作的本分。一个艾滋病感染者，一个艾滋病工作者，坐在马路边上，像朋友一样，从晚上11点聊到了凌晨4点。
郑州市疾病预防控制中心的工作人员并不多。由于工作的特殊性，他们也很少接受媒体采访，外界对他们的工作并不了解。但他们一直默默地做着这些琐碎的、不为人知的工作。
郑州市疾病预防控制中心的自愿咨询检测（VCT）是为求询者发泄、倾诉和提供帮助的。咨询员帮助求询者缓解和释放心中的压力和困惑。其根本目标是促进求询者克服对艾滋病的恐惧感，树立坚强的信念，了解安全的性行为，自强自立，使艾滋病感染者能够自己面对和处理个人生活中的各种问题，避免报复社会、破罐破摔等一些过激行为。
深入酒吧，寻访感染者
周末是休闲娱乐的时候，也是郑州市疾病预防控制中心艾滋病防治科工作人员忙碌的时候。7月16日下午，记者随同郑州市疾病预防控制中心工作人员前来参加他们的活动。在提前和一个娱乐场所的经理联系后，6点钟，由6名工作人员、志愿者组成的干预工作组出发了。大概7点钟，活动正式开始。志愿者现场讲解了艾滋病检测的必要性，宣传艾滋病防治的知识。之后，另外几名志愿者开始做一对一的“郑州市MSM人群基线调查表”，志愿者要尽量消除填表者的内心顾虑，获得尽可能真实的信息。郑州市疾病预防控制中心的工作人员给已经填调查表的人抽取血样，准备拿回郑州市疾病预防控制中心检测。每一个血样对照一个被调查者。调查、填表、采血、解答各项工作在有条不紊地进行，虽然是在正常工作时间以外，虽然时间已经很晚，但是每个人都是那样的认真，没有一丝的倦意和不耐烦。据悉，调查表在填写时，被调查者的姓名可以是虚假的，但联系方式必须是真实的。在现场，有些人看到这个活动后，碍于情面，不愿意当场采血填表，就悄悄地问工作人员单位的地址。晚上10点钟，活动结束，共采到40多个血样。
网上即时免费咨询检测
郑州市疾病预防控制中心开设了性病诊疗门诊，提供性病防治知识，提供性病检测和治疗，以及转介服务。门诊有完善的性病检测、治疗仪器，通过性病诊疗对就诊者宣传性病艾滋病防治知识。
郑州市疾病预防控制中心利用网络资源，针对年轻人接触网络比较频繁的特点，在网上宣传艾滋病性病防治知识、国家的法律法规和政策，发布郑州市疾控部门艾滋病性病相关活动信息，即时在线解答网友有关性病艾滋病问题，建立并随时更新咨询问题库，并与“缘聚中原”等网站进行链接。郑州市疾病预防控制中心有专门的咨询QQ群，并建立了携手园咨询检测群。
艾滋病感染者小H（化名）是个“80后”，像许多年轻人一样，他也喜欢待在网上。有过高危性行为的他，对自己的健康状况有所担心，但在现实生活中却难以对人启齿，更没有勇气去医院检测。
一个偶然的机会，他在“缘聚中原”网站上方看到了“郑州地区男男性接触（MSM）人群免费咨询检测”的公告。这一下子吸引了他。公告写到：“携手你我，呵护健康。送给你郑州市最权威的检测结果及转介服务。此次活动全部检测均为免费。你的个人隐私将受到保护。检测地点：郑州市疾病预防控制中心。”这样一则公告，打消了他的顾虑。第二天他就来到郑州市疾病预防控制中心进行了检测。
如果不是郑州市疾病预防控制中心网上的这则公告，他可能现在还没有勇气去检测……
郑州市疾病预防控制中心“携手园·关爱之家”的运行模式，是以政府为主导，疾控中心、医疗机构、社区组织三位一体的服务模式，通过对男男性接触人群的干预探索、对阳性感染者的随访管理，加大对高危人群的干预覆盖。
艾滋病的预防控制工作任务还非常艰巨，道路还很漫长。采访中，郑州市疾病预防控制中心主任王松强一再表示，他们将继续采取科学有效的预防控制措施，认真开展艾滋病预防控制和监测工作，遏制艾滋病的传播，为保障经济发展和社会稳定而继续努力的工作。
