Lianhe Zaobao LONDON scientists genetically modified a cat home, it has against the Aids virus proteins and fluorescent proteins will be issued, hoping to find new methods for the treatment of AIDS.

British "Daily Mail" reported that monkeys have a natural body protein, can prevent contracting AIDS.

American medical institutions, Mayo Clinic (Mayo Clinic) To explore such a protein, it can also prevent a similar love of cats infected with the disease, "Feline immunodeficiency virus" (FIV), which is genetically modified cats.

Scientists injected the same time as the domestic cat fluorescent jellyfish gene to cats glow under ultraviolet light, easy to track the disease suppression love traces of protein in the body of the cat.

"Natural methodology," Journal reported, the researchers successfully produced five genetically modified cats, of which three survive; two of them good health, an illness, but researchers believe that this has nothing to do with genetic modification.

The domestic cats are with anti-Aids virus proteins, the study also shows that they are more resistant than the average cat feline Aids virus. Two cats and later gave birth to kittens, which are also new genes.

Scientists hope the research can help them quickly developed a love of the disease and the vaccine against the Aids virus to find the method.
