After about six hours driving, we arrived at the world famous miracle, the Grand Canyon, that is the Grand Canyon of Colorado. By the way, Colorado means red in Spanish, the Grand Canyon of Colorado in actually the Red River Canyon(红河谷).

     It is so long that nobody could travel on foot the whole course, so travelers can only visit part of it, we visited the part in Arizona State, where John McCain came from. The cliffs in both side of the canyon is really in red and they are so deep that we couldn't see the bottoms of them.

     It is imposable to go down the bottom of the canyon in such a short time, so we can only visit very little of it and take some pictures here and there. The most interesting part of the visiting is watch the movie of the Grand Canyon, it is not a conmen movie, it is a movie made in three years by helicopters and Kayaks, though the movie we can not only see the hardness and danger of exploration but also can understand more about the grandness of the Canyon.

     The guide said it was luck for us to go there then because of the weather, for most of the time it is not sunny here,, and if so, the weather will be rather cold, but that day is so good that day that nobody felt the coldness. But when we went to a large rock under the top of the cliff in order to take pictures, we felt difficult to stand because of the strong wind. When we climbed back, Newchen and I got hurt the same place of out left hands for we touched the same thorn on a rock. We still felt the pain on our hand, and some body took a picture for our hands, that may become a memory of our friendship in America.
