Not very late that evening, we arrived at Laughlin, one of the casino city enclosed by water. We stayed there because of two reasons, one is it is a casino city too, the other is it is nearer from there to the Grand Canyon.

     Even though not too late, but from far away on the road we could see the lights of various colors. I had seen casinos in Xingjiang, but here in America the casinos are full of one-arm bandits or fruit machines, gamesters could smoke inside the big hall. The main casinos also the hotels are CONORADO BELLE(卡罗纳多美人), EAGEWATER（水边）, AQUARIUS(宝瓶宫)，TROPICANA EXPRESS (热带宾馆)，RIVER PALMS(河边棕榈) RAMADA EXPRESS(华美达宾馆) so on and so forth.

     We walked out off the RIVER PALMS, the hotel we stayed because we wanted to see the night sceneries not on the bus but walking on the road, by the way, there were no hot water in the hotel, even drinking water, so we have to find a fountain to collect some water. About an hour later, one of our colleges said she was tied so we went back to the hotel. We should get up early the next morning to catch the tour bus to Grand Canyon.
