中美艾滋病防治合作项目2008年度会议在深圳召开
中美艾滋病防治合作项目（GAP） 2008年度会议于2008年12月17日至19日在深圳召开。会议总结了本年度项目的工作进展，全面回顾了项目第一个周期五年中所取得的成功经验和教训，并为项目未来实施提出了战略方向。
卫生部国际合作司司长任明辉出席会议并致辞。他回顾了国际合作项目对中国艾滋病防治工作的积极贡献，肯定了该项目的合作模式，并强调了项目整合、高效利用资源的必要性。
来自卫生部、中国疾病预防控制中心、美国驻华大使馆、美国国际发展署，以及15个项目省（市、区）的卫生行政部门和疾病预防控制中心的代表和国际专家共100余人参加了会议。会议分项目管理、能力建设、监测、实验室建设、干预、咨询检测和治疗关怀等领域，总结和分享了各领域项目活动的工作进展和成功经验。
中美艾滋病防治合作项目（GAP）自2003年正式启动至今，由美国政府通过美国疾控中心提供了1360万美元的经费和技术支持。该项目与中国艾滋病防治整体框架密切结合，与中国艾滋病防治工作的政策方针一致，旨在提高国家和省级的艾滋病防治工作效果，注重通过项目持续地为中国培养艾滋病防治队伍，加强中国长期应对艾滋病流行的能力，为中国艾滋病防治工作提供了有力的技术支持。

Sino-US cooperation in AIDS prevention and treatment project (GAP) 2008 Annual Conference in 2008 Dec. 17-19 was held in Shenzhen. The meeting summed up the progress of the project this year, a thorough review of the project cycle, the first five years of successful experience gained and lessons learned, as well as the implementation of projects put forward in the future strategic direction.
