After having a brief look at the city hall and related buildings, we had to take BART(Bay Area Rapid Transit) to Stanford University. By the way, I'd like to introduce briefly the transitions in San Francisco here to you, except BART, there are Muni(Municipal Railway), Caltrains, and cable cars.

Caltrain inside
a road in Atherton Town
We took Caltrain to Stanford University, and we are sure that there were 8 stops altogether from where we board and where we should get off. Nobody knows where the mistake are from, at the eighth stop, the name was not right, so we have to take another stop to see the stop name we wanted, but it didn't appear yet, anyhow, we must get off, and we knew immediately that we were wrong again because we should get off at next stop. The reason is that the stops shown on the signs is from Monday to Friday, and the train stops at some little stops in the weekends, that is why and where we got off, but here we saw the town scenery even real tourists could not see.
There is a small town near the stop, nobody will even notice it if they are on the train, now that we had gotten off, and have to wait for an hour for the next train, we'd better look around here and there. Soon we found the Town Hall and the police station and post office in the same building opposite to the Town Hall. We entered the hall and nobody in it, soon we heard the voice in the other room, there were a policeman and policewoman, and they are so kind and hospitable to us that Newchen got an idea of asking them to send us to Stanford by the police car, sure it was impossible for they had shown the where the bus station was to us.
We have to enjoy the beautiful scenery there, not have to, but we really enjoyed the scenery there, for we’ve never seen such a silence and clean small town before.
