专管患艾滋病犯人的青年狱警

今年国庆期间，王东（化名）终于回家与家人过了一个团圆的中秋。这是他工作近5年来，第一次回家过中秋节。
王东是云南某监狱的青年警察，与其他警察不同，他是一名艾滋病犯专管警察，一个人管理着几十名艾滋病犯人，是云南监狱系统中管理艾滋病犯人最多的警察。

9月22日，中国青年报记者与王东一起前往他的责任管理区。监狱大楼的4楼“特殊病犯区”牌子上笼罩着隐形的压力。

4年前，王东也怀着忐忑不安的心情走进了这个封闭的监区。当那些患有艾滋病的犯人用复杂的眼神看着王东时，他很想让自己放松下来，“可是脸僵硬得一点笑都挤不出来”。

这是王东第一次接触如此多的艾滋病患者，而在此前，在医学院临床医学系读书的他只见过两例艾滋病感染者。从监狱医院调到这一监区管理几十名艾滋病犯人，王东有些无所适从。

“突然进入到一个我不了解的人群中，我觉得很害怕，怕遭到他们的袭击。”王东说。

这不是王东一个人面临的问题。近年来，随着犯人中艾滋病患者增多，监管设施简陋、管理经验欠缺、改造对象复杂等问题日益凸显。如何管理好这些特殊犯人，让他们出狱后不再有害社会，成为目前所有监狱面临的问题。

在紧张和不安中，王东度过了他工作以来最难熬的两个月。每天早上8点，他首先到4楼去看望他所管理的服刑人员，问一问每个人的情况，并提醒他们添加衣服、不能感冒。犯人身体不舒服了，他会用手摸一摸他们的额头或身体、用这一细微的动作来告诉病犯他不害怕艾滋病。

两个月后，王东放松了，他发现，“尊重”是最好的治疗方法。

王东有一个笔记本，上面有每个服刑人员按姓名字母的编序标签，记录着他们的电话、身体状况、情绪和日常改造的细节。如“某年某月某日收到家信”、“某年某月某日病了”，这样王东能了解每个人对什么事情在乎，找他们谈话时也更有针对性。记者在他的笔记本上看到这样一行字：“2月7日，起床时碰破头。”王东说，艾滋病犯一旦出血，哪怕只是极小的伤口也隐藏着极大的危险，染到血迹的污染物和伤口都会对他人形成传染，处理好细节才能防止罪犯交叉感染。
2007年12月24日，患有肺结核和艾滋病的犯人王某发病住院，他不断咳血并连续口鼻流血。擦血的纸巾很快堆满废纸篓，整个隔离病房充满了浓浓的血腥味。绝望的病犯拒绝医治，并企图自杀。

尽管内心充满恐惧，但王东仍然坐到了这个犯人的面前，守了他一个下午，终于说服他配合治疗，度过了危险期。

2008年7月，9名服刑人员在服用抗艾滋病病毒药物后，因为药物反应，吃不下饭，不断呕吐。王东找来几个鸡蛋，煎得黄黄的，送到每个人的床前，总算让他们吃下。

4年来，艾滋病犯人成了王东最牵挂的人。有时外出参加培训到晚上11点，他也要回到监区看看病犯有什么情况。对于想学技能的服刑人员，王东想法找来各种书籍让他们学习，“开卷总是有益的”。大年三十，别人回家吃年夜饭了，王东还在和病犯谈话。“我担心他们因为想家而思想波动。”他说。

在他的管理下，艾滋病犯人们的精神状态发生了很大变化。一位姓王的服刑人员说：“在我们失去自由、失去亲人的情况下，王警官比我们的亲人还亲。”另一位姓蒋的服刑人员说：“我来这4年零4个月了，能遇上王警官是我修来的福分。”

由于这份工作风险大、职业很容易暴露，王东至今没有找到女朋友。与同龄人相比，他的生活也朴素得几近简单。每天坐公交车上班，步行到监区，业余时间在图书馆度过。

曾经有他管理的病犯亲属找到他，希望办理保外就医，并许诺给现金一万元。王东谢绝了。当时病犯家属觉得不可思议：“许多人变着法子捞钱，你这个年轻警察送到手的钱都不要？”

但是对于那些符合保外就医条件、家庭特别困难的病犯，他竭尽全力办理手续，主动与监区其他警察一起把病人送回偏远山区，亲手交给家属。

4年来，王东一次次用“不离不弃”挽救着一个又一个痛苦不堪、绝望无助的艾滋病犯，而他自己却为此承受了巨大的压力，甚至也想过放弃，但是“责任”让他觉得卸不下这副担子。“这些患病的服刑人员内心比其他服刑人员更加扭曲和沉重，总有一天他们会结束服刑回到社会。善待他们，即使不能完全感化他们，也要让他们心存善念，不要再伤害其他人。”他说。

     4 years, Wang has become the most worried about AIDS and prisoners people. Sometimes go out to participate in training to 11 pm, he would return to the prisons to see sick guilty of what was happening.
