南非总统祖马表示将采取新措施对抗艾滋病

　　南非总统祖马29日在立法首都开普敦表示，政府将采取新措施对抗日益严重的艾滋病疫情。

　　祖马表示，南非政府将在今年12月1日“世界艾滋病日”发布对抗艾滋病的新举措，以控制青壮年高死亡率。他同时呼吁举国团结，共同抗击艾滋病。不过，祖马没有透露政府将推出的具体抗艾措施。

　　南非是世界艾滋病病毒感染率最高的国家。长期以来，由于病人及其家属刻意隐瞒等原因，南非因罹患艾滋病而死亡的人数一直无法确定。据统计，去年南非共报告死亡75.6万人，其中60％的死者年龄不足50岁，而他们中相当一部分人据估计很可能就死于艾滋病。 （记者朱曼君）
