　　国际在线消息(记者朱曼君)：南非卫生部长莫措阿莱迪10日在立法首都开普敦表示，由于前政府在抗击艾滋病方面的疏失，南非的死亡率在过去11年上升了1倍多。

　　莫措阿莱迪说，1997年南非全国一年的死亡人数在30万人左右，而去年，这一数字已经达到了创纪录的75.6万人。他表示，这一数字对比“令人震惊”，并将造成死亡人数倍增的主要原因归结为“对待艾滋病的行动和态度的巨大转变”。

　　目前，南非是全世界艾滋病病毒感染率最高的国家之一。据了解，南非前卫生部长查巴拉拉—姆西曼坚持推广无效的预防和治疗艾滋病措施，导致南非艾滋病患病人数、致死人数在过去数年大幅增加。祖马政府上台后，南非卫生当局开始大力推广国际普遍认可的抗逆转录病毒疗法。
