长沙已免费治疗500多名艾滋患者

本报11月22日"我们从03至07年间,免费为500多人做抗病毒治疗,目前还有280多人在门诊接受治疗和咨询。"今天,长沙市第一医院分院、长沙市艾滋病研究所所长王敏主任医师说,HIV人群治疗关爱模式的运用,提高了人群的生活、生命质量,减轻了家庭、社会以及政府的负担。
今天,来自北京、上海、杭州、广州、海南、哈尔滨、重庆等14个地区的40多名代表齐聚长沙,一起探讨治疗关爱模式的前景和方向。
长沙市第一医院分院作为长沙地区艾滋病唯一收治AIDS住院病人的定点收治医院,建立了以定点治疗医院为中心,联合省市疾控中心,各级综合医院临床科室以及感染者关爱组织共同参与的HIV/AIDS治疗关爱管理模式,为HIV/AIDS人群提供全方位的治疗关爱服务。目前其艾滋病抗病毒治疗与国际接轨,晚期艾滋病的治疗效果达到省内领先、国内先进水平。
"我热爱这份工作,刚开始出于同情的心理接触了这些人群,后来与病人的接触中间,我更加认识到这份工作的重要性。"心理护士李晓萍说,虽然大多人不理解我的工作,但我的接触过的500多个病人认同我,我就很满足,很有成就感了。
王敏称该模式的建立,充分、合理地利用了湖南省会长沙市丰富的医疗资源,能有效地管理HIV传染源,延缓HIV/AIDS疾病的进程,降低相关疾病发生率、病死率,降低人均治疗费用,提高HIV/AIDS生活、生命质量,减轻了家庭、社会以及政府的负担,在阻断AIDS的迅速蔓延方面发挥了较好的作用,填补了省内艾滋病治疗管理方面的空白,为湖南省公共卫生事业做出了积极的贡献。
