重庆市积极开展关爱艾滋病致孤儿童活动

日前，重庆市黔江区、沙坪坝区、北碚区、铜梁县、丰都县、垫江县、巫溪县等7个首批“中国温暖‘12.1’爱心基金”项目实施区县及随后追加的巴南区、江津区2个已感染孤儿救助区县利用迎春送温暖的契机，将艾滋病致孤儿童纳入当地政府的春节慰问对象，为25名受援儿童的家庭送去大米、白糖等年货和新学年的学习用品，并将爱心基金送到他们手中，同时深入了解他们的生活状况和学习情况，鼓励他们克服困难，树立信心，自立自强，健康成长。
垫江县受援儿童小玲（化名）的父母在外务工时染上了艾滋病，几年后相继去世。小玲只能跟着70多岁的爷爷生活。由于爷爷年岁已高，也无其他生活来源，日子过得非常艰辛。在接到县妇联送去的爱心基金和衣服、棉被等慰问品时，小玲非常激动，她说没想到妇联还在关心她，还在关注着她们这样的群体。她表示以后一定要努力学习，争取以优异的成绩来感谢所有关心她的人，以感恩的心来回报社会。
“中国温暖‘12.1’爱心基金”由全国妇联权益部、中国移动、中国儿童少年基金会联合发起，旨在通过搭建慈善公益平台，动员社会各界关注艾滋病致孤儿童，帮助他们寻找爱心家庭，改善生活环境。节后，所有项目区县将按照全国妇联的要求，继续实施为期5年的关爱行动，并积极为受援儿童寻找“爱心家长”，通过爱心家长与他们谈心交流进行心理疏导，帮助他们克服心理阴影，树立生活信心，勇敢地面对困难，做一个对社会有用的人。
