视点：安全套与泰国“抗艾”
“要让大家知道，安全套不该是让人害臊的东西，它有非常积极的作用和意义，”这场“安全套服装秀”的设计师这样讲解他的设计意图。
在泰国首都曼谷市中心的隆披尼公园，这场别开生面的安全套服装秀掀起泰国纪念世界艾滋病日活动的第一轮高潮。这一活动由联合国教科文组织、泰国红十字会和一些民间组织共同发起。
服装秀令人炫目，但更令人开眼界的是接下来的活动――来自２５个国家和地区１５００多名热心人士，同心协力把２．３万个安全套结成一条长度约为２．７５公里的纽带，准备在吉尼斯世界纪录大全中新添一项“世界最长安全套纽带”的纪录。
多年来积极推动普及安全套使用的泰国议员米猜・威拉韦耶打下了象征性的第一个结。随后，众人花费１个多小时的时间，连接出一条黑白两色的“安全套纽带”，并将其铺在公园地面上准备好的一条红色缎带上。组织人员当晚人工测量了纽带的长度，随后将用更精确的测量方法确认准确长度，以便申报吉尼斯世界纪录。
