中新社北京七月九日电(记者 曾利明)二00八年中国内地新报告艾滋病病毒感染者六万零八十一名，其中病人一万四千五百零九名，死亡九千七百四十八人。死亡人数居全年传染病报告死亡数第一。这是北京疾病预防控制中心主任邓瑛今天公布的数字。
他在此间召开的北京市艾滋病防治工作会暨全国第二轮艾滋病综合防治示范区北京启动仪式上称，虽然中国内地艾滋病疫情总体仍呈低流行态势，但在特定人群和局部地区感染率很高，疫情仍处于上升阶段，性传播逐渐成为主要传播途径，艾滋病流行因素广泛存在，艾滋病疫情正在从高危人群向一般人群扩散。
自一九八五年中国内地报告第一例艾滋病病例截至去年十二月底，已累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者二十七万六千三百三十五名，其中病人八万二千三百二十二名，死亡三万八千一百五十人；全人群感染率为万分之五，艾滋病流行区域已从局部蔓延到全国三十一省、市、区。
邓瑛透露，目前云南省报告感染者数已超过六万，居全国第一；广西报告四万余例，位列第二；全国超过万例的省份依次为：河南、新疆、广东、四川、贵州。所有报告病例中注射吸毒是最主要的传播途径，超过百分之三十二；其次是性接触传播，占百分之二十四；采血、输血途径占百分之十七。
据联合国艾滋病规划署统计，目前全球约有艾滋病感染者三千三百万，其中二百万是十五岁以下儿童；全球每天大约有七千四百人新感染艾滋病病毒，其中百分之九十六以上生活在中、低收入国家。(完)
