南昌市疾控中心的专家告诉记者，虽然目前艾滋病无法治愈，但是可以通过多种措施进行预防。HIV的性接触传播与许多因素有关。由于社会开放程度增大，物质生活条件优越，“90后”一代生理成熟更早更充分。再加上互联网的普及，使年轻人获得了大量的性知识。初次性行为低龄化，成为了目前普遍存在的问题。
众所周知，安全套是防止经性传播疾病和避孕的有效工具，是防止艾滋病与其他性病的唯一的、最有效的方法。但调查显示，仍有26%的年轻人错误地认为避孕丸、体外射精等其他方式同样有效，这点令人担忧。市疾控中心专家表示，在“堵”不住的情况下，家长与社会应正视这个问题，引导年轻人掌握安全的性行为方式。同时，树立年轻人正确的人生观念，提倡参加有利于身心健康的文体活动，推迟首次性行为的发生年龄。
