中英加强在艾滋病防治领域的协作 河南与英方签署合作框架意向书

本报伦敦7月27日电（记者 刘海英）近日，《中国河南卫生厅、英国卫生防疫署与英国伯明翰中原医院抗击艾滋病联合声明》在英国伯明翰签订，三方表示将密切合作，共同遏制艾滋病。该合作框架意向书的签订，标志着中英两国卫生部门在艾滋病防治领域的合作进入一个新阶段。
协议承诺改善对两国艾滋病患者的治疗和关爱，双方共同的目标是提高医护人员和公众对艾滋病的认知，消除对艾滋病患者的歧视；提高艾滋病检测率，加强对艾滋病患者的护理，改善艾滋病流行的检测监控，从而减少艾滋病毒在中英两国的传播。
刚刚参加维也纳第十八届国际艾滋病大会的中方代表、河南卫生厅黄玮厅长表示，与英国方面在艾滋病防治方面的合作，是中英两国共同应对艾滋病蔓延方面迈出的积极一步。而英国伯明翰医院艾滋病中心主任斯蒂文·戴勒医生则指出，中英两国在艾滋病传播方面有非常相似之处，此次河南代表团的来访为中英两国艾滋病防治人员相互交流提供了一个非常好的机会，相信双方在未来艾滋病防治方面会有更好的合作。
