为什么有些人不会得艾滋病？

美国和中国的科学家宣布他们鉴别出人体中的一组蛋白质，这组蛋白质能阻止感染艾滋病毒的人艾滋病发作。他们说，这个新的发现有可能帮助人类找到有效治疗艾滋病的新方法。
全世界大约有4000万人感染了艾滋病病毒。但是受感染的人中有极少的一部分人不会得艾滋病。这些人长期携带病毒但不发病。他们有天然的免疫能力，可以阻止艾滋病病毒导致艾滋病发作。
80年代中期以来，科学家就了解到有些感染艾滋病病毒的人一直没有发展成艾滋病。这些人的免疫系统可以产生某种元素阻止艾滋病病毒在身体内繁衍。
现在美国和中国的研究人员发现这些人都有一组被称做alpha-defensins的蛋白质。这些蛋白质对这些人身上的所有艾滋病病毒都有抑制的作用。因此这些人能长期携带病毒而不发病。
这些研究人员在著名期刊《自然》上面撰文说，这个发现是向前迈进的重大一步，能帮助了解为什么有些人的身体有天然抵抗艾滋病的能力。
研究人员说，通过了解这些人的身体是如何抵御艾滋病病毒，可以帮助找到治疗艾滋病的新方法，使用这种蛋白质，利用人体天然的免疫能力来对付艾滋病。

Why do some people never get AIDS?

U.S. and Chinese scientists announced that they identified the body of a group of proteins, this group of proteins can prevent people living with HIV onset of AIDS. They said the new findings may help people to find effective new ways to treat AIDS.
There are about 4000 million people worldwide infected with HIV. However, very few of those infected will not get AIDS as part of. These people carry the virus but not long-term morbidity. They have natural immunity, can prevent the onset of AIDS virus that causes AIDS.
Since the mid-80s, scientists learned that some people infected with HIV has not developed into AIDS. These people can have some elements of the immune system to prevent proliferation of HIV in the body.

These studies staff at the prestigious journal "Nature" above the author said the finding is a major step forward, to help understand why some people's body has natural resistance to AIDS.
