博茨瓦纳采取行动降低孕产妇死亡率〔１４％死于艾滋病感染〕

新华网哈博罗内１月１3日电（记者郭骏 罗淑珍）博茨瓦纳卫生部官员１２日表示，博茨瓦纳政府将于下月开展“快速降低非洲孕产妇死亡率”运动，进一步有效减少孕产妇死亡现象。
博茨瓦纳卫生部公共卫生局局长希娜兹·艾尔·哈拉比在向博茨瓦纳议会艾滋病委员会做简要汇报时称，长期以来博茨瓦纳政府努力采取减少孕产妇死亡率的措施，如完善产前检查和接生制度，但孕产妇死亡率仍居高不下。在孕产妇死亡病例中，２８％死于大出血，１６％死于妊娠高血压，１４％死于艾滋病感染，１３％死于早产。
博茨瓦纳中央统计局的数据显示，博茨瓦纳２００９年的孕产妇死亡率为１．８９６‰。与许多非洲国家类似，许多博茨瓦纳人，特别是在农村地区，固守在家生产的传统方式。这一方面是因为医院少，费用高，离家远，但更主要的是，由熟人为产妇接生是非洲数百年来的传统，在人们的思想中根深蒂固。
