靖西为返乡农民工举办预防艾滋病知识培训

1月23日，靖西县湖润镇“农事村办”二楼多功能会议厅里人头攒动，一百多个座位座无虚席。原来这里正在举行返乡农民工预防艾滋病知识培训会，全镇120多名返乡农民工参加了培训。
这是自去年12月份以来，靖西县在各乡镇为返乡农民工举办的第20场预防艾滋病培训会。针对当前农民工感染艾滋病疫情有增长的趋势，防治形势日趋严峻。为进一步加强艾滋病的防治工作，有效遏制艾滋病的传播和流行，促进社会的和谐稳定，该县决定举办乡镇级农民工艾滋病防治知识培训班。培训采用电子投影和现场讲授演示的形式进行。培训当天，县疾病预防控制中心还为参训民工进行免费体检，抽血化验，办理健康证以方便春节过后农民工外出打工。同时，对参训民工每人发放20元的误工补助并赠送小礼品。
据了解，目前全县已举办了20场次培训会，投入资金23万元，发放防治宣传资料6000册（份），近3000名返乡农民工接受了培训。（通讯员 麻正雄）
