全球艾滋病和法律委员审议妨碍亚太地区艾滋病应对进展的法律障碍

曼谷2011年2月17日电 /美通社亚洲/ -- 世界首批艾滋病得到确诊三十年后的今天,亚太地区90%的国家里的法律及实践仍在妨碍着艾滋病感染者及高危人群的权力实现。
作为世界消除艾滋病应对前进障碍运动的一部分,2月17日,政策制定者及社区倡导人员将在曼谷与全球艾滋病法律委员会的专家们一道召开首个地区对话,其后世界其它地区也将展开系列对话活动。
作为一个独立机构,全球艾滋病和法律委员会汇集了世界最知名的法律、人权及艾滋病工作领袖。在该地区对话的活动中,来自22个国家的约150名与会人员将就包括亚太地区艾滋病感染者在内的重点人群在该地区所面临、经历的限制性及支持性法律及社会环境展开讨论及辩论。

Members of the Global AIDS and the law should consider the prejudice to the progress of AIDS in the Asia Pacific region legal obstacles
