菲律宾两名输入含艾滋病毒血液病人死亡

据《菲律宾星报》报道，菲律宾卫生部国家传染病中心主任埃里克·塔雅格12日证实了这两名病人死亡的消息，但强调，输入含有艾滋病病毒的血液并非两名病人死亡原因。
塔雅格称，这两名病人死于“重大疾病”，这也是医院为其输血的“主要原因”。
塔雅格仅仅透露，这两名死亡病人是一名儿童和一名成年妇女，拒绝进一步透露其它细节。此间媒体报道指，其中一名病人在今年2月已被列为菲律宾官方公布的艾滋病病毒感染病例。
菲律宾卫生部早前曾透露，发现多袋由民众捐献的血液含有艾滋病病毒，并证实有1名病人因输血感染艾滋病病毒。在菲律宾艾滋病登记机构2月份检测的67袋血液中，15袋血液发现含有艾滋病病毒。菲卫生部全国艾滋病性病传染预防控制项目负责人贝里马克当时呼吁公众不要捐献“可疑”血液。
截至今年2月，菲律宾全国登记在册的艾滋病及艾滋病病毒感染病例已达6326人，其中仅今年2月份一个月就发现159宗新感染确诊病例，约9成病例是因未采取安全措施的性活动感染。
