　　2003年抗击“非典”期间，河北省中医药参与治疗率在华北地区属最高，为取得河北省非典防治“三高、两低”的成果发挥了重要作用。积极参与中医药治疗艾滋病试点项目，在2007年国家中医药管理局召开的中医药治疗艾滋病试点项目工作总结汇报会上，永清县卫生局被评为“全国中医药治疗艾滋病工作先进集体”，沙河市中医院李保印同志被评为“全国中医药治疗艾滋病工作先进个人”。石家庄市第五医院（传染病医院）被国家中医药管理局确定为“全国中西医结合治疗传染病临床基地”。 在防控禽流感、甲型H1N1流感等疫情中，制定了《河北省甲型H1N1流感中医药防治方案》等，开展了对中医药专业技术人员的强化培训，并组织中医药专家赴重点疫区参加一线防治工作。来源人民网-健康卫生频道)
