从最初在性病门诊工作,到后来接触我市首例艾滋病人,再到目睹艾滋病人在病痛中离开世界,何鹏图对生命有了更高层次的理解和诠释。面对璀璨生命的陨落,他最想告诫大家的就是:艾滋病,距离我们每个人都不遥远。
增强市民对艾滋病防治知识了解
春寒料峭。2月24日8时30分,市疾控中心性病艾滋病防治科科长、49岁的何鹏图一如既往地按时来到自己的办公室,开始了一天的工作。
何鹏图打开电脑,开始浏览国家艾滋病疫情网公布的最新数据和一些相关情况。随后,他做出了近期的工作计划,那就是去酒泉城区各网吧做有关艾滋病预防知识的宣传,需要协调的工作和每一个细节。去网吧消费的网民来自不同的人群,不能排除有高危人群的存在。自2010年10月开始,根据市疾控中心有关工作安排,何鹏图就和所在科室的5名工作人员开始往返于城区各网吧进行宣传。到了2010年底,城市网民对艾滋病知识知晓率达到了78.3%。
一个上午就这样过去了。在国家疫情网站上没有看到酒泉籍的病人时,何鹏图才心情愉悦地长舒了一口气。
艾滋病从无到有的过程其实很短暂
19年前,何鹏图刚满30岁。在无数个月明风清的夜晚,何鹏图的思维都定格在那个早已经过去的年份。当时,艾滋病在全省来讲都是一个陌生而又遥远的话题。那时,他去兰州学习,主要内容是关于性病的预防与治疗。到了1993年,全省首例艾滋病发生,我市依然是一方净土。何鹏图在庆幸的同时心中也充满了各种忧虑。
1996年,按照相关要求,何鹏图带领工作人员对酒泉市戒毒所、肃州区看守所在押人员进行了强制性检测,结果令他们感到欣慰,没有发现艾滋病感染者和病人。2004年,全市发现首例艾滋病人。截至2011年2月底,我市共报告感染者48例,年龄在10岁至75岁之间,其中死亡4例。2008年以前,艾滋病传播方式在我市以注射吸毒为主,此后,转向以性传播为主。
从最初的恐惧到如今的释然
经历了艾滋病人在我市从无到有的过程,何鹏图也从最初的恐惧到如今的释然,他说这已成为自己的一项常规工作。
在何鹏图眼中,有关艾滋病人的故事很多,也很心酸,面对一个个鲜活生命在救治无效后的苍白死亡,何鹏图的心在泣血。
酒泉市首例艾滋病人从发现到死亡仅有两年时间。
在何鹏图的记忆中,这名男子当时只有28岁,1.75米左右的个头,体重在75公斤左右,到了2006年他的生命走向终结时已是瘦骨嶙峋了。这名男子由自己的父亲搀扶着来找何鹏图,他想来看看在自己患病过程中一直给予他关心的何鹏图及其他工作人员。面对何鹏图,这名病人号啕大哭。这哭声,在何鹏图看来,是对生命挽留无助的悲戚,也是对自己当初所作所为的懊悔。这名男子最后死在了家中,他注射毒品时感染了艾滋病。
关爱自己关爱他人
在工作中,何鹏图要和不同的艾滋病病毒感染者或病人打交道。当病人心情郁闷时,他们只能找到何鹏图和科室其他工作人员来哭诉。此时,何鹏图要克服重重心理障碍,和他们握手,给他们倒茶,面对面和他们交谈。
14时30分上班后,何鹏图又仔细浏览了今年的工作计划,那就是以网吧为平台,开展预防艾滋病宣传和健康教育活动,做好对特殊人群的宣传教育工作。在酒泉城区建筑工地和农贸市场开展有关艾滋病的宣传活动,提高外出务工人员和流动人口的艾滋病知识水平等。
何鹏图说,艾滋病可防可治不可怕。根据本地艾滋病属低流行区的特点,他们在工作中重点开展了对不同人群的健康教育活动,使更多的人从思想上正确认识了艾滋病。对MSM(男同性恋)、FSW(商业性女性性服务人员)等高危人群进行了4年多的综合干预活动,最后得到了他们的信任。何鹏图发展的同伴教育员也愿意出来参与不同形式健康教育活动,取得了一定的社会效果。
预防艾滋病,重点在自身。何鹏图说,从我市情况来看,艾滋病呈现出日益蔓延的趋势,其中家庭无辜者成为最大受害者是他最不愿意看到的……
