法国驻广州总领事馆位于我们熟悉的“六十三层”大厦里。章泰年先生临窗而坐，楼下车流有序、行人新潮，目睹三十年之中国变化，他用流利的中国普通话说：“我很喜欢研究中国。”
章泰年先生高大得“很欧洲”，这是我预见到的。但他的动作很多，这是我没预见到的。他在回答我提问的每句话时，都展现了法国人那种自由发挥的形态，以至我们的眼睛跟着他的手势不停地流动、随着他热烈的语言开怀大笑。连正在认真打灯、换景、拍照的摄影师胡波也不时地与章泰年先生“插科打荤”，其亲和力的“力度”可见一斑。
他很喜欢他现在这个职务和工作环境，这从他说的每一句话时流露出来的表情里都明显地挂着。尤为令他骄傲的是，深圳大亚湾核电站是中法两国第一次在核能方面的合作，现已成为中法合作的成功典范，而这个成功典范就在他最喜欢的华南区内。

The French Consulate is located in the well-known “63 floors building”.
