临汾新闻网讯（记者 赵玉峰）4月7日上午，卫生部副部长、国家中医药管理局局长王国强一行在我市就中医药治疗艾滋病项目进行检查指导。他强调，要学习借鉴中医药治疗艾滋病的先进技术，着力改善患者体质和身体健康状态，通过完善临床技术方案、加强医学课题研究、壮大医疗队伍等措施，不断提高中医药治疗艾滋病科研水平。
省政协副主席、省中医学院院长周然一同检查指导，省卫生厅副厅长王峻、副市长谢碧玲陪同。
在临期间，王国强一行专程前往市传染病医院“绿色港湾”艾滋病治疗专区和红丝带小学，看望慰问艾滋病患者及医护人员，并查看了学校基础设施建设。
在病房里，王国强关切地询问艾滋病患者的病情、治疗康复、家庭生活等方面的情况，并向他们送去了慰问品。王国强指出，当前我国的艾滋病疫情形势依然严峻，防治任务十分艰巨。卫生系统要提高广大人民群众艾滋病防治知识的知晓率和自我防范意识，逐步建立起全社会关注艾滋病、关爱艾滋病人的非歧视社会环境。要全面落实防控艾滋病的有关政策规定，遏制和防范艾滋病蔓延，保障人民群众身体健康。他强调，规范的中医药治疗对艾滋病有确切疗效，医护人员要在总结临床经验的同时，积极学习、探索和使用中医治疗艾滋病技术，改善和稳定艾滋病病人免疫功能，提高病人生活质量，减轻抗病毒药物的毒副作用。
在红丝带小学教室里，王国强与15名艾滋病儿童患者一一握手，详细询问他们的病情、治疗、家庭情况。当了解到孩子们的学习情况后，他说，看到大家有一个很好的学习生活环境非常高兴。党和政府始终关心着你们，希望你们勇敢地面对困难。在各级党委、政府和社会各界的关心下，你们一定要积极接受治疗，好好学习，将来为社会作贡献。同时，王国强还叮嘱医护人员，要用爱心和亲情鼓励、照顾孩子，使他们感受到家庭的温暖，健康快乐地成长。
王国强一行还观看了艾滋病儿童患者的节目表演，向他们送去了慰问品，并与他们合影留念。
