年近八旬老人染艾滋 专家提示健康教育不应忽视老年人

新华网武汉８月５日电（记者 黎昌政）一位年近８０岁的老人不久前在武汉大学中南医院被确诊患上艾滋病。专家提示，近年来老年艾滋病患者逐渐增多，性传播为主要途径，艾滋病健康教育及预防监测不应忽视老年人。
据了解，这位独居老人晚年丧偶，没有输血史，但常有不洁性行为，医生分析是通过性途径感染的。中南医院艾滋病专家、武汉市性病与艾滋病防治学会常委高世成副教授说，该患者是因为高烧不退到医院看病被确诊的。
高世成说，以往艾滋病感染者以青壮年居多，最近几年开始向中老年人群蔓延。今年以来他已经接诊了两名老年艾滋病患者，都为男性，都是通过婚外性行为感染的。
中国疾病预防控制中心性病艾滋病预防控制中心近期完成的一项研究显示，２００６年到２００９年报告的艾滋病患者中，５０岁及以上年龄组所占比例从７．８％上升至１４．９％，患者以男性为主，不安全性行为是感染的主要原因。
调查显示，部分老年人防艾知识缺乏、退休后生活较为空虚、性观念较以前更为开放，是造成老年感染者人数上升的主要原因。由于生活质量改善和人均寿命延长，５０岁及以上中老年人的健康状况和性生活保持良好，而这种需求往往被忽视。专家呼吁，老年人要注意安全性生活，同时建议国家增强对老年人的艾滋病监测和预防教育。。
